Gideon and Andrew established WalkWise UK in 1998 to provide high quality walking holidays and outdoor events, since then the company has steadily grown increasing the number of events, clients and staff. However our ethos has remained steadfast to make the countryside accessible to everyone and promote a greater understanding and enjoyment of the countryside in a safe, relaxed and sociable environment.
All the WalkWise team are all highly experienced walking guides, with years of experience of walking in the hills all around the world and they thoroughly enjoy their work, if you can call it work! They all love and enjoy the countryside and their knowledge of the countryside is unsurpassed, but most of all they thoroughly enjoy sharing their experiences with everyone. You can rest assured that in their company you are in experienced and safe hands and will have a thoroughly enjoyable walk.
Today WalkWise operates as a specialist Walking Holiday Tour Operator, organising walking, hiking, rambling and ambling breaks throughout the UK and Abroad. We work out of hotels, guesthouse and hostels in almost every region of the UK and Europe...and if we dont have an event where you want, then contact us and we will see what we can do to help!! Our forte is organising, managing and running events for social, walking, activity and charity based groups.
