OVERVIEWWith an abundance of new walks and the two amazing locations of Strathpeffer with Ben Wyvis and Gairloch with Torridon we shall have the finest of Scottish Walking and hospitality.
This year our first traditional Walkwise Scottish Week is going to explore two of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. First we will enjoy the super delights of the stunning Strathpeffer scenery. Strathpeffer is a pretty Victorian Spa town set in the heart of Easter Ross. Our base in the Ben Wyvis Hotel will enable us to sample the fine straths of the area, with their lazy, meandering | Strathpeffer

waters, beautiful woodlands and craggy hillsides. And of course we shouldn't forget the magnificent Munros and mountains of the area, which, due to their height and isolation, command spectacular
panoramas!
panoramas!
Gairloch
| Next we sojourn to the spectacular and lofty heights around the picturesque harbour village of Gairloch. Here silver sandy beaches run down to the Mediterranean-esque blue waters. Behind the hotel lies one of the last great wildernesses of Europe and some of the most amazing mountains in Britain. With walking for every ability from excellent loch shore and coastal walks to the most demanding Munros and Corbetts, this will be very popular, so book early! |
