                                                                Description ~ Grade of Walks

The grades are a rough guide to how difficult each guided walk is, under dry benign conditions. Every walks difficulty can alter substantially depending on the weather at the time, such as rain, wind, ice and snow. It is always best to speak to your guide on the day before setting out on the walk to understand the nature of the walk on that given day.

Easy walks, mostly on paths and tracks, with no special difficulties.
                                                                Picture
Slightly harder walks, paths and tracks could be rough and indistinct in places, terrain will have some noticeable ascent and descent.
                                                                Picture
Moderate walks, terrain will be steep, possibly pathless, hill walks onto the straightforward and popular Munros.

Harder walks, can include longer walks with pathless and rocky terrain. May be scree and minor scrambling may be required. Most Munros will come under this section.
